Inspiring Your Team to Lead, Grow, and Achieve

“Rules that tell us what NOT to do hold people back. Instead, the rules should help us progress.” -Simon Sinek

Ditch the Outdated Approach

As an officer heading up your team, you’ve likely encountered the old-fashioned, over-used, underwhelming, same-old expression for company morale: “We want our employees to succeed!”

“WE WANT OUR EMPLOYEES TO SUCCEED!
Well, of course you do.

Well, of course you want your employees to be successful. Does anyone believe Elon Musk, Steve Jobs, or Mark Zuckerberg would ever wish for any of his team members to fail?

Yet, this expression is simply a bevy of words that can be written or spoken without supporting affect or structure.

This expression is simply a bevy of words that can be written or spoken without supporting affect or structure.
Be The Difference

The rubber meets the road when you actively stand behind the declaration of supporting your employees in their quest for success, growth, and achievement. When you sincerely believe, embrace, practice, and uphold it as one of your core principles, you reinforce its value by instituting an environment that supports the message it embodies, making it actionable, credible, and real. And within this environment you’ve created you have a team that not only can succeed, but truly strives for it.

Fostering a Recipe for Success

So how do you make it happen? At Food Tech, we uphold, believe, and exercise this core value. Of course, team members are held accountable and responsible, but they are also granted freedom and allowances that lead to personal and professional growth and immense satisfaction.

Telling an employee ‘no’ kills the desire for advancement or improvement, and impedes progress for everyone.

But saying YES to employee empowerment means your team will grow and succeed.

This means encouraging and allowing team members to:

  • Make the decisions they think is the right decision to make
  • Start something that needs to be started
  • Ask for help whenever they want it
  • Help others whenever they can (even if someone doesn’t ask for it)

At Food Tech, we want employees to lead, grow, and achieve – and have fun doing it. So join us, and inspire your own team members to do the same.
