Project Details:
Fat Cat Design worked with Sheila Wilson for many years. After decades as a healthcare worker, Sheila founded the non-profit organization, Stop Healthcare Violence in early 2000. Stop Healthcare Violence (SHcV) provided support and advocacy for healthcare workers who suffered violence in the workplace; and lobbied for change in the Massachusetts legislature to make violent crimes against healthcare workers a felony. We worked closely with SHcV to create and develop a website that communicated its advocacy, services, and resources. We then worked with Sheila Wilson on copywriting for her book, The Shocking Reality of Healthcare Violence, as well as creating the book's front and back cover design for Amazon. We promoted the book through custom video design and video creation, through social media, through the website. Sheila officially retired in early 2020, but is renowned for her fierce determination, spirit, and tenacity.
